Hiking the Trail from Georgia to Maine

Welcome friends!

I’m hiking the Appalachian Trail! I’ll be starting in Georgia on 3/17, walking North for 2,200 some odd miles, and ending in Maine sometime in Fall (if all goes to plan). I’m sure I’ll have something interesting to share along the way, so check in for some trip updates!

I have received so much support from so many people since I have started this hike. It was unexpected and truly humbling. Thank you to everyone who is following along with the blog, and thank you for all the texts, phone calls, emails, blog comments, etc.

I’ve found that I really like blogging. During the day, I think about the interesting things that I want to share. Then at night, I reflect about the events that occurred during the day as I write the blog. It helps me live in the present. Also, when I share publicly, I focus on the positive more than the negative. Blogging is a healthy practice for me, and I only do it because you all care about me and are following along. Thank you!!!!!
