Day 139, Tuesday, 8/2 – I woke up and headed out to the kitchen. Aqua was just waking up as well, so we got some coffee going. Genie and Splitzy got up a short while later and made up some delicious breakfast sandwiches.
I spent the majority of the day going through photos, catching up on the blog, and watching TV. In the afternoon, we all walked over to the nearby grocery store to resupply food. This resupply should take us into Maine. Besides the grocery store errand, I didn’t leave the house all day.
I also changed the tip on my remaining trekking pole today. Before this hike, I didn’t know a trekking pole tip ever needed to be replaced.
Aqua cooked us all chicken fettuccine Alfredo for dinner, which is one of her favorites. Genie followed it up with frozen chocolate bananas, which was definitely inspired by all the Arrested Development we watched.
