Kevin's AT Thru Hike

Day 112, Wednesday, 7/6 – I woke up and went into the kitchen. Connor’s roommate, Josh, was getting ready for work and had brewed up a pot of coffee. I drank a cup and chatted with him for a bit. I had actually already met Josh a year ago at a music festival in Pennsylvania. Connor and Angie woke up shortly after and made breakfast smoothies.

We kicked it most of the morning, and played some disc golf in the back yard. We also walked over to a local breakfast joint and I got a breakfast sandwich and an omelette. We took a 2 mile walk around Connor’s neighborhood on our way back home.

Early afternoon, we stopped by Angie’s place, then met up with her friend Taylor at Sunset Grill for oysters and appetizers. We followed that up with a round of mini golf. The mini golf place was playing some classic rock music which everyone was vibing to.

We then grabbed Mexican food from a taco truck that was parked next to an ice cream shop. It wasn’t late when we got back home, but it was a packed day so I was wiped out. I was in bed by 8:00pm.
