Day 113, Thursday, 7/7 – I started my morning with a couple cups of coffee sitting at the island in the kitchen. Connor and Angie made up some smoothies and avocado toast for breakfast. We then spent the rest of the morning lounging around.
We ran some errands during the afternoon, and I completed my food resupply for the next few days. There was a Party City next to the grocery store. They didn’t have Bean Boozled, but they did have Bertie Botts beans, which have sufficiently gross flavors to keep the gag going.

When we were out running around, we stopped at a deli for lunch and ate out on the patio. The weather has been perfect the entire time I’ve been here. When got back to the house, Connor and Angie cooked up stir fry. Taylor joined us for dinner, and then we all headed to a free outdoor concert. We sat out in the grass, snacking on a charcuterie board, with Trent, Victoria, Josh, and a few other friends. The Kitchen Dwellers were playing, which is a great bluegrass band.

We then headed back to Connor’s neighborhood where a Tame Impala cover band was playing. I was out late. I was finally in bed around midnight, but stayed up even later killing time on my phone.

Visiting Connor and seeing his life has been wonderful. He’s got it put together. Angie’s great, he’s got great friends & roommates, the neighborhood he lives in has a lot going on and provides a sense of community, and the band he plays in is successful and is only getting better. It’s heartwarming to see a friend doing so well.
